We had technical difficulties downloading these at KEEC, so here are some moments from the week.

Packing Up and Waffle Breakfast

This morning we rose at 6:30 gong to pack up our cabins and then headed to a yummy waffle breakfast.
Staff will be fairly busy today getting ready to leave, so blog posts will slow down until we get home.  Look for more over the weekend as we catch up on unposted footage.
Looking forward to reuniting parents with their campers at school today, estimated ETA is 2:30.

A small group of students chose an artistic path on Thursday and learned to batik.  The finished projects were beautiful.

Some students chose to spend their morning baking zucchini breads (from scratch) in the beautiful Keewaydin kitchen.

Choice Day Canoeing 

Thursday was a beautiful day for canoeing.  Lots of kids got into boats and enjoyed the still waters and blue skies.  

Froggin', Fishin', and Turtlin'

Froggin'

A Froggin' adventure became a froggin', fishin' and turtlin' adventure.  These adventurous souls waded deep, catching frogs, turtles, and even fish with either hands or small nets.  We laughed so hard and had such a great time.  Check out the size of these frogs!  

*After catching them, they were released back into their habitats. 

 They all started out dry but most got very, very, wet

Falls of Lana Hike

A group of 10 chose the Falls of Lana hike this afternoon.  We explored above, below, and around the river, its rocks, and the spectacular falls.
