Group 1 makes it to Pitch Pine Point

 

student reflection:

The pitch pine point was also another fun hike, but just like the others I drowned in my sweat and I lost a lot of blood with all those mosquitoes around me. During the hike to pitch pine point  we went on king trail which was the steepest part of our hike. We spotted a frog on a rock and it ran away because Hunter had to chase it away. The last stretch of the hike was hard because there were a lot of rocks that we had to climb but we made it to the top of the mountain and there were a lot of pine trees. The mosquitoes were a nightmare because they followed us from the start to the finish but it was finally done and we all had a good time. -MW 

For investigations, Group 1 goes on a hike to Pitch Pine Point . We all made it up there but for some people it was hard. It was hard for me at the beginning ,but it got easier and easier . The view at the top of the mountain was really incredible. We could see camp at the top and the lake. We also had a snack at the top, it was pretzels and goldfish. It was good to have a snack at the table, but we also had a beautiful view. The snack and the beautiful view was a wonderful hike and also just hiking in general. I love to hike. It is one of my favorite things to do sometimes.
