Our KEEC week is about over, campers packed all their things (before breakfast!) and cleared out their cabins. There are a few more fun activities before we load buses for the journey home. If you are able you are welcome to pick up your campers early from school, 2:20 ish, or at regular dismissal. All gear will be offload on the soccer field.
The blogger is stationed in the middle of the Staff Cabin (aka Moose Cabin) amidst all of the kits, books, props, mud boots, and leftover sneakers. It's a quiet place where you can hear the kids refining skits, sharing stories, while the birds are chirping. Pretty cool spot.
Mr. Kelloway is the Blog Pro who sets this all up and keeps us, mainly me (FK), from deleting everything. Thanks Mr. Kelloway!

Ms. Allison showing off some sporty new, extra comfy, flip-flops after her inaugural swim in Lake Dunmore.
11 Courageous Hikers set out from the boys camp at the foot of the Green Mountains. What a day we had in store for us! Amazing strength, stamina, and good cheer, combined with spectacular views, wildlife sightings, and so much more.
Ready and set to go!
Our lunch spot with the lake in the background. We saw a turkey vulture, bald eagle, and an osprey while eating 25 PB&J, 11 cookies, and drinking a bunch of water!
At the end, we were pretty tired. [Note: totally staged photo!]
The official details from Strava. Pretty impressive day hike! Way to go ADHikers!
The dish crews were hard. We appreciate all their efforts. Many said, they would be willing to do more dishes at home!
General's Lookout is a tough hike but worth every step! There are three new ladders in place which makes it a little easier. We bushwhacked a little and found a skeleton and two really strong rock breakers.
The Cookout is always pleasure. Here's a collection of tasty, well smoked burgers. Prepared by famous chefs and eaten by smiling customers!
Really Mom, we were not playing with our food. All scraps were eaten, no waste from this project!
Getting some air at hoops! Watch for the four legged, furry, defense!
