Glaciers is an investigation that helps to illustrate the power and history of glacial activity in the valley. Campers bury a model of a glacier in the sand, which they named Mt. Nine after their study group number. They then went on a hike up Burnt Mt that affords an excellent overlook of the valley, where they discussed how the glaciers
carved the terrain here many years ago. When they returned "Mt Nine" had melted, leaving behind the stones that had been frozen in it.

Afternoon Update
It looks like we are a go for hobo cookout tonight. The campers are presently enjoying a little quiet time in cabins before afternoon investigations begin. If we have somehow left out a camper in all these pics, please let us know in comments and we will get a pic of them on by tonight! Weather is beautiful here, fingers crossed it holds up through dinner time.
