Good Morning from KEEC

The gong sounded at 6:30 this morning, and in 15 min all of the kids were gathered for a brief quiet reflection time called magic spots, then it was off to breakfast!
Morning investigations are next, more updates from these adventures

when we return around 11:30

Monday Evening Fire Circle

 Monday closed with a fire by the lake, a rousing game of Shazam, a story,   and a quiet song to lead us off to bed.

Welcome to Keewaydin!

Our students have all found their cabins, their study groups, and their tables in the Dining Hall. Lunch was yummy grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. Always a favorite. Dinner was spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread and salad. Loads of tasty treats enjoyed by all.

Settling In to Cabins and first Circle

After arriving by the beautiful shores of Lake Dunmore and having a name tag made, students moved into their cabins for the week.

We then had our first group meeting at the fire circle by the shore.  Adults introduced themselves and then small group tours began of the campus, followed by lunch!

And We Are Off!
