Water exploration
The campers have been exploring water in swamps, bogs and wetlands. We've also been insisting that they drink water- lots of it! And they hope to be swimming in the lake later today.
I was wondering if it was quite as desperately hot there as it is here. Happily, we have a lovely breeze. I hope the same for you! Thank you CAES staff and Keewaydin Camp staff for taking care of our young people!
The weather was quite warm but safety came first so we still hiked in long pants most of the time to keep the bugs off and the poison ivy away. The picture of the student drinking water shows what we told the students to do constantly. Fortunately, they listened and were well hydrated. FK

ReplyDeleteThat day was sooooo fun we got to walk in the water with our rubber boots. afterwords we all sat down and emptied out our boots... it was fun!
