Last Minute Friday Details

Breaking News: We will be swimming at KEEC next week! Please pack a suit and extra towel if you would like to take a dip and cool off while we are there.

This week students have been filling in the a few pages in their KEEC journal (pictured above). One page was for reference about critical ecology concepts such as food chains, photosynthesis, and communities. A second page asked students to list their goals and expectations for their week at KEEC. Here are a few excerpts:

Goals: "To have fun with my peers at KEEC, to learn about nature and how to help our planet."
"To catch a big fish and climb a tall mountain."
"To do ALL of the hikes!"
To get up the climbing wall in 20 seconds."

Expectations:" To go on a long hike and have fun!"
" I expect to meet a lot of people and have a good time."
"Learn something new."
